What’s this book all about?

It provides general overviews of various Building Engineering Services such as: airconditioning, vertical transport, electrical, and hydraulic and then goes into apportioning of costs, plantroom space and equipment weight etc. This gives a well rounded understanding about what others needs are, which insight allows smooth coordination between architects and system designers as well as construction project managers, installers, and certifiers.

Not a member but want to be - go through the www.sbse.org.au which takes you to the EA SBSE societies page read the about page - then goto the EA portal to open an account then on to choose the society of building services engineers and pay your $36 subscription.

Until things are finalised with our printers, the only version available (print on demand) is Edition 4 which can be ordered through the University bookshops..

Remember that to qualify for the $20 discounted price, you must already be a financial member of Engineers Australia’s Society of Building Services. see above on how to become a member. As the SBSE membership subscription is $36 to Engineers Australia with the added book price of $20, this brings the new member price to $56, so you get the book for $4 less than full price. Whereas for existing SBSE members, the saving is $40-.
