It was passed by a Principal Certifier as well as being clearly visible to various trade installers! passed - HOW???
Remember that if a non-conformance is observed by any trade - it must be reported under WHS requirements to the Principal Certifier prior to issue of the Occupation Certificate which declares that the facility is “safe to occupy” - this clearly isn’t!
Note also that Fire Dampers must reflect AS/NZS1668.1 +
AS1682.1&2 but AS1668.2 makes no performance requirement associated with fire damper installation, so installer is clearly INEPT..
